What’s it about?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We would describe The Leap Home: A Quantum Leap Podcast as an ‘affectionate retrospective’. That is to say we will be looking back on the show not in an effort to expose its flaws or deconstruct its values, but with curiosity as to how it stands up today and whether our warm recollections remain intact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our podcast will consider whether and to what extent Quantum Leap<\/em> remains relevant thirty years after it originally aired.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The podcast will dedicate one show to each episode of Quantum Leap<\/em>, with a wrap-up discussion at the conclusion. New shows will become available on a weekly basis from launch with a short break after each season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Who’s behind it?<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Leap Home: A Quantum Leap Podcast is produced by Glasgow-based Heard Yet Media, who are responsible for a number of recent popular podcasts, including the retrospective shows The Columbo Podcast<\/a><\/em>, Sledgecast<\/a><\/em>, The Blackadder Podcast<\/a><\/em>, The Jonathan Creek Podcast<\/em><\/a>, The Fawlty Towers Podcast<\/a> and Fascinating? A Star Trek Podcast<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The show is hosted by regular presenters Gerry & Iain who have published over 12,000 hours of podcasts to date. In combination, listeners have spent well over one and a half million hours hearing them discuss television shows, with The Columbo Podcast<\/em> and Fascinating? A Star Trek Podcast <\/em>representing their most successful ventures so far.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Is it any good?<\/p>\n\n\n\n We are confident that The Leap Home: A Quantum Leap Podcast represents some of our best work in the medium.
