The cops are on hand to swiftly arrest him, but soon have to let him go when ballistics clears him of involvement. Returning to his office he meets his partner&#8217;s new widow, Allison Grimsley (<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/claudialives\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Claudia Christian<\/a>), with whom he, as Nick Allen (<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/claudialives\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Tony Heller<\/a>), seems to be in love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<br>\n\n\n\n<p>With assistance from an enthusiastic wannabe gumshoe, Seymour (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/tv-and-radio\/2021\/sep\/22\/willie-garson-sex-and-the-city-and-white-collar-actor-dies-at-57\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Willie Garson<\/a>) and some advice from Al, who&#8217;s read the book about this case, Sam tracks the killer to La Guardia airport where he is revealed to be the building&#8217;s landlord Lionel (<a href=\"https:\/\/doyouremember.com\/135118\/whatever-happened-to-paul-linke\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Paul Linke<\/a>) who is obsessed with Allison.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<br>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Play it Again, Seymour<\/em> was directed by <a href=\"http:\/\/alipstadt.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Aaron Lipstadt<\/a>, the second of his three episodes for the show. The teleplay was written by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.penguinrandomhouse.com\/authors\/2250001\/scott-shepherd\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Scott Shepherd<\/a> and Donald P.
